Denise Iger is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a degree in Political Science. Ms. Iger graduated Cum Laude from California Western School of Law, where she was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award and the Corpus Juris Secundum Award for scholastic achievements in Civil Procedure. She was included in the National Dean's List, as well as the Who's Who of graduate students.

Ms. Iger began her representation of community associations after having clerked with the American Arbitration Association, District of Columbia Mediation Services, San Diego City Attorney's Office, the United States Attorney's Office and a San Diego defense firm, specializing in construction defect litigation.

Ms. Iger has had numerous articles published in trade journals, including the California Association of Community Managers Law Journal, California Association of Community Managers Vision Magazine, CAI's Orange County Focus Magazine, Eye on Construction and Condo Management Magazine. Ms. Iger is currently Chairperson for the Community Associations Institute, Orange County Chapter Publications Committee, as well as a member of the California Association of Community Managers Legal Steering Committee.
She has lectured on many occasions, including at the regional and national level for Community Associations Institute and for California Association of Community Managers. Ms. Iger has also spoken on several occasions on the radio show “Construction Affairs” on KIEV 870 AM. Ms. Iger is also a member of the California League of Homeowners and the Orange County Bar Association.

Ms. Iger has received national and local recognition, including recognition from the American Bar Association, for her philanthropic contributions. She is a recipient of the 2001 Vision Award for Excellence in Education, CAI, Orange County Chapter's 2002 Outstanding Service Award, CAI, Orange County Chapter's 2001 President's Award for participation on the Education Committee, and the 2005 President's Award.

She has also received recognition for her commitment and service to law students for both philanthropy, mentoring and tutorial programs. Ms. Iger continues to serve the community in outreach programs, including speaking at local high schools, Ask-A-Lawyer telephonic help line, food and clothing drives, and pro bono service for those in need.

Ms. Iger is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada. Her practice focuses on community association law, with an emphasis on corporate matters including opinion letters, disciplinary proceedings, governing document drafting and enforcement, and contract review and drafting.
